We sell directly to you. Stripe processes payments, OpenAI supports requested AI generation, and Lulu and its delivery partners produce and ship physical books. Those providers do not become the seller of your Stories order merely because they perform part of the service.

You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering a contract. The creator and account are not directed to children under 13 and children must not create or operate an account.

If you provide a child’s name, description, story details, or photograph, you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or otherwise have all authority and permissions required from every identifiable person shown. Reference photos are optional. Do not upload a photo if you cannot make that representation.

Stories helps you draft or import a 12-page story, edit its text, choose a visual direction, generate one illustration for each page, approve print-quality artwork, and create a high-resolution PDF. For printing, the 12 story pages are composed with title, copyright, dedication, keepsake and activity pages into a 24-page interior that meets the selected Lulu format. The Printed plan also creates one print entitlement; it does not immediately submit a print job.

AI output can contain mistakes, visual inconsistencies, artifacts, or material that resembles common ideas. You must review names, text, anatomy, objects, page layout, text-safe areas, and every illustration before approval. We do not promise that output is unique, error-free, or suitable without your review.

Each book plan applies to one 12-page illustrated book. Every illustrated page receives its own allowance of 3 LOW preview requests and 1 HIGH final request. The cover allowance is 3 LOW and 1 HIGH. These included allowances are not transferable between pages, books, or accounts.

A permanently failed verified technical request is restored to the same page and quality tier. A completed request counts even if you later prefer a different result. After an included allowance is exhausted, global credits may be used: LOW costs 1 credit and an additional HIGH render costs 8 credits.

Optional packs are 12 credits for \$7.99, 30 credits for \$17.99, 60 credits for \$32.99. Credits are a limited contractual right to request supported illustration generation inside Stories. They are not money, have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be used outside the service.

We may correct balances affected by refunds, chargebacks, duplicate grants, fraud, or technical errors. If purchased credits were already consumed when their payment is reversed, future grants may first satisfy the resulting negative balance.

A paid order is formed when you select a product, see the Stripe Checkout total, accept the applicable terms, submit payment, and receive confirmation. Prices are in US dollars. Any legally applicable sales tax may be added and shown before that payment.

Digital creation may begin after the book-plan payment. A physical book is a separate production stage. Before we submit it to Lulu, you must approve the final PDF/proof, print specification, delivery address, shipping method, shipping price, applicable tax, estimated timing, and final fulfillment total.

The \$49.99 Printed plan includes one personalized 8.5 in square, 24-page case-wrap hardcover entitlement. The Digital plan can later receive one through the \$20.00 print upgrade. In both cases, exact shipping and any applicable tax are not included in the plan price and are charged later in a separate checkout after a live Lulu quote.

A print entitlement is consumed only when a corresponding print order is accepted for production. It does not guarantee that every address, format, shipping method, or destination will be supported. If we cannot offer fulfillment, the unused print component will be refunded or another lawful remedy will be offered.

Production and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly promise a date. We will provide a shipment representation only when we have a reasonable basis for it. If we cannot ship within the promised period—or within 30 days when no period was stated—we will request consent to the delay or cancel and promptly refund the unshipped physical order as applicable.

You are responsible for a complete deliverable address. Additional costs caused by an address you approved as incorrect may be charged only after disclosure and your authorization. See the Shipping, Cancellations & Returns Policy.

You may request cancellation of an unused book plan before the first custom generation begins. Once requested digital work has begun, completed generation and delivered digital content are generally non-refundable except where required by law, where the service materially fails to match what was purchased, or where we expressly agree otherwise.

After final proof approval and submission to production, the personalized physical book is final sale for change-of-mind purposes. This does not limit remedies for a book that is damaged, defective, materially different from the approved proof, lost, or not delivered. We ordinarily resolve verified manufacturing defects using photographs and a replacement or reprint; a physical return is usually not required.

No provision prevents you from raising a good-faith billing dispute or exercising non-waivable rights under federal or state law.

You retain rights you hold in material you submit. You grant Stories and its processors a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, resize, transmit, transform, generate from, print, and deliver that material only as needed to provide, secure, support, and legally operate the requested service.

You may use your completed personal storybook and PDF for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to rights of others and provider terms. We do not promise exclusive copyright in AI-generated material or that any output is eligible for copyright protection. Commercial resale, automated extraction, or model training using the service or its output requires our written permission and all necessary third-party rights.

You may not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, privacy-invasive, exploitative, or unsafe content; sexualized depictions of minors; instructions to identify a person or infer sensitive traits from a photo; malware or secrets; or content you are not authorized to use. You may not bypass payment, generation, security, rate, or queue controls, scrape the service, or interfere with another account.

Our Privacy Policy explains data practices. Before any reference photo can be processed, an adult must separately accept the Photo & AI Processing Notice. We do not use photographs for face recognition, identity verification, biometric identification, or targeted advertising.

We may maintain systems, manage queues, change compatible providers, and restrict access reasonably necessary to address fraud, unlawful content, security threats, nonpayment, chargebacks, or material breach. We will not intentionally remove a paid core entitlement without a remedy required by law or these Terms.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis and we disclaim implied warranties not expressly stated here. Nothing excludes liability or warranties that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protection, product conformity, intentional misconduct, or remedies for our material breach.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for unforeseeable or indirect loss, business loss from a consumer purchase, or harm caused by content you had no authority to provide, an address or proof you approved as inaccurate, or events beyond reasonable control. Any monetary limitation will not be lower than the amount you paid for the affected order and will not apply where such limitation is prohibited.

Polish law governs these Terms, but this choice does not deprive a US consumer of mandatory protections that apply under federal law or the law of the consumer’s state. We do not require arbitration or waive class remedies in this draft. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.

Please first email with the order ID and requested resolution so we can investigate. You may also contact the consumer-protection authority or court available where you live.

The version accepted at checkout governs that purchase. We may update future terms for legal, provider, security, or product changes. Material changes to an active paid service will be communicated when required. If one provision is unenforceable, the rest remains effective and the provision is limited only as necessary.
